Brittany & Rory’s day was beautiful. We first got to meet them during their engagement shoot and instantly knew how awesome they were. This is one of those couples that light up a room together, and there is no doubt how much they care for one another. Their wedding day showed every bit of this, as well as how much their family and friends cared for them. It was a full team effort; from Brittany’s mom taking point on the food, the both sides of the family helping with set-up and decor, and even Brittany’s boss offering his ranch for this event. Their flower girl and ring bearers could not have been sweeter, and their wedding party was on point. The ceremony took place in the Gazebo on the property pond and the reception was out by the hay fields. The weather was perfect and the sounds of the countryside were unmatched. The did their first toast with Shiner and the first dance had everyone laughing. The groom’s cake had Rory’s favorite Marvel characters and the thank you gifts were mini jars of honey. This was one of those weddings you hate to see come to an end, but left grateful we got to a part of it.
Sarah and Paul were an amazing couple to be around. If you can’t see from the pictures how happy they were the whole time then we did not do them justice. Their wedding took place at Brik in Forth Worth. It is a hidden gem that is relatively new. There are so many fun spaces there for photographs, and multiple ways to customize for your event. They decided to have an indoor ceremony and reception, with the ceremony upstairs around sunset. The girls got ready in the upstairs suite, while the boys got ready downstairs. Two of the girls, the groom’s daughter and sister, got to be groomsmen and show off their sweet suits. The entire wedding party were out to have fun the minute they walked in.
The flowers they picked for the wedding were pefect, the colors and texture complimented one another. When it was time for the wedding to start Sarah’s dad gave her away. They had live music playing and the sun shined in perfectly. In-between the ceremony and reception we were able to get in some pictures before the sunset. The receptions was buffet style and the music was a mix of live and dj. Hydrangeas and gold accented all the tables. The made sure to do all of the classics; first dance, cake cutting, garter/bouquet throw, but then Paul and the girls stole the dance floor and did a surprise dance for everyone. But that was not the only surprise, Paul later changed into the outfit he met Sarah in to do one final dance with her. To wrap up the night they had a confetti throw to their exit limo. Thanks again to this great bride and groom, and we wish them the very best.
I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome bride and groom months before the wedding, and I knew since then it was going to be great. Melissa, the bride, is a nurse and her groom, Kevin, is a local firefighter. They are such an awesome down to earth couple and are wonderful to work with. Their gorgeous wedding took place at THE SPRINGS in Aubrey, TX right outside of Denton. The venue is beautiful inside and out, and the team their does are great to work with. I had the chance to take pictures with the bride and bridesmaids in the bridal suite while Travis got to take some around the venue and with the guys. All the girls got matching robes and stemless campaign glasses, while the guys went the whiskey route.
When it was time for the ceremony everything went perfect as they got married under an arch they had put together of fresh flowers. Following the ceremony the guest went inside for cocktail hour while we got some shots of family, bridal party, and them of course. It was warm outside (imagine that in Texas) so we felt bad keeping the bride and groom outside too long in the heat, but we love the pictures they gave us from that time. The reception was decorated in gold, burlap, and pinks with custom touches everywhere. The DJ was able to keep the everyone on the dance floor most the night, and the night was wrapped up with a glow stick exit.
Did I mention how bummed I was I didn’t get to go with my partner to this wedding! Since I am expecting our second little one, Travis had to go on this destination without me. I still could not be more excited for this sweet couple Ginger and Jimmy. I still can not believe their big day has already came and went.
This destination wedding took place at the Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Their goal was to make this a great time to spend with family and close friends in a beautiful location, and they did just that. The bridesmaids and bride started off the day getting ready at the spa with getting their hair and make up done. They finished up getting ready in a suite with their matching robes and a few drinks to celebrate. I loved the hangers that Ginger got for all the girls, I thought it was a great extra touch to add.
The ceremony started near sunset and was situated amidst authentic Mayan ruins in the Riviera Maya. Everything was gorgeous. I loved how on her bouquet she added some of her dad’s pins to show memorial to him. The guys looked sharp as Ginger’s sister brought her down the aisle. The ceremony could not have been prettier, even the ring bearer was left in tears.
They provided a cocktail hour with an open bar while we took some pictures. Afterwards everyone enjoyed dinner . Ginger had a special spot reserved for her dad at the family table. To wrap up the night everyone had a great time on the dance floor with a live mariachi band. Even some of the local wild life showed up for the fun.
We could not be more excited when this day finally arrived. We have had such a great time being part of this awesome couples story. We started off the wedding day at a local Fort Worth church getting to spend time with the Bride, Groom, bridal party, and family. Everyone was in great spirits and excited for these two to tie the knot. I loved the robes the girls had when getting ready. Before the ceremony the bride and groom made time to have one last prayer together before they walked down the aisle. The colors used to celebrate the day in was a deep purple and gold. They had a classic ceremony and stayed back to take family photos while everyone else headed to the reception. The reception took place at the Gladney Center for Adoption. The cake was amazing and there was plenty of dancing. To wrap up the day we got some shots of the bride and groom and let them head out to their honeymoon in Mexico.
For Shelley & Garret we had the chance to take their engagement photos in McKinney earlier this year, and we were glad we got be a part of their big day. Their wedding took place at the White Room in Arlington, TX. They had a classic traditional wedding. Their little guy, just like at the engagement shoot, was always helpful and was excited to be a part of everything. I liked the fact that they had a guest book, but also set up a station where the guest could leave notes to the newlyweds. From start to finish everything felt relax and everyone seemed to have an awesome time, what more could you ask for?
We love getting the opportunity to shoot at this venue, it is one that never has let us down. It is located in Parker, TX north of Dallas, and has a very secluded feel. It is family owned and operated and they are willing to help in every way. For this wedding the atmosphere was relaxed the whole time. The wedding party and the bride were great to work with and seemed to enjoy every part of the big day. The colors of the wedding were white on white, and it was an evening Friday ceremony. For the ceremony we loved that the grandfather played a piece for the couple near the completion. For dinner they brought in Babes, which is always a fav of mine. The centerpieces were all provided by the venue and looked great! They had one of my favorite guest books hands down, it was a large wooden Texas that everyone had the chance to sign. I also loved the kids activity table that the bride even took a stop at to do some quick coloring. All in all the night went great, and we had a blast!
We loved this wedding from start to finish. The bride and groom were so laid back and seemed to be soaking in every minute. The venue is “The Bird’s Nest” in Melissa, TX. It was full of southern charm from top to bottom. The wedding accents continued the theme great through just about everything. The brides something’s were perfect; her mom’s pearls, loved ones handkerchief from Pearl Harbor during WW2, her cowboy boots, garter, and earrings. The guys showed off with their superhero cufflinks with coordinating undershirts. The reception and ceremony all took places outside. Sunflowers and candles were everywhere you looked, and the music was great. We could not thank this sweet group enough for letting us be part of their great day!
Meaghan & Billy tied the knot! We had a blast at this wedding. It was a modern wedding at the NYLO in Irving. The girls did a great job getting the venue ready with the great wedding planner(C&C Events and DJ), and the boys had a fun hanging out at the hotel. The bride did a first look with both her bridesmaids and her parents. The ceremony took place inside the hotel, and afterwards they did a cocktail hour while we got to take some pics with the family and wedding party. They did a dance entrance with the wedding party, after that their guest did not stop dancing all night. Midway through the night the group played a fun game with the entire crowd, and did the traditional garter and bouquet throw. They wrapped up the night with a final dance and a sparkler exit. We can’t thank this couple for letting us be part of their big day.
