Fort Worth Wedding at Brik

Sarah and Paul were an amazing couple to be around. If you can’t see from the pictures how happy they were the whole time then we did not do them justice. Their wedding took place at Brik in Forth Worth. It is a hidden gem that is relatively new. There are so many fun spaces there for photographs, and multiple ways to customize for your event. They decided to have an indoor ceremony and reception, with the ceremony upstairs around sunset. The girls got ready in the upstairs suite, while the boys got ready downstairs. Two of the girls, the groom’s daughter and sister, got to be groomsmen and show off their sweet suits. The entire wedding party were out to have fun the minute they walked in.

The flowers they picked for the wedding were pefect, the colors and texture complimented one another. When it was time for the wedding to start Sarah’s dad gave her away. They had live music playing and the sun shined in perfectly. In-between the ceremony and reception we were able to get in some pictures before the sunset. The receptions was buffet style and the music was a mix of live and dj. Hydrangeas and gold accented all the tables. The made sure to do all of the classics; first dance, cake cutting, garter/bouquet throw, but then Paul and the girls stole the dance floor and did a surprise dance for everyone. But that was not the only surprise, Paul later changed into the outfit he met Sarah in to do one final dance with her. To wrap up the night they had a confetti throw to their exit limo. Thanks again to this great bride and groom, and we wish them the very best.

Forney Family Photoshoot

This was our first time working with the McCall family, and it went awesome! They were such a  pleasure to work with. Their daughter and son could not have been easier little ones to take pictures of. We took the photos by the pond in their neighborhood in Forney. It was a warm day but it cooled off just enough near sunset for us to get these shots without anyone melting. Looking forward to the next shoot with them!

Riviera Maya Bridal Shoot

It just felt like we finished up Ginger’s engagement photos and then it was already time to fly off for the wedding and her Bridals. We did the bridal session around the resort where the wedding would be taking place, the Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Ginger took a break from enjoy this amazing resort and exploring the area to get in her dress and show off all the details of her wedding attire. She did a great job, and we loved the chance to do the bridals ahead of time at the same venue as where the wedding would be.

I still can not get over how gorgeous her bouquet turned out and I don’t think she could have had a better color combination. We are working up finishing the wedding photos so that we get a chance to share them not only with this awesome bride and groom, but with her friends and family as well.

Bridals at the Dallas Arboretum

Of course Abbey looked gorgeous for these bridals! We decided to do her bridals at Dallas Arboretum to take advantage of the gorgeous blooms this time of year, you can also check out Abbey’s Engagement Shoot we did here early this spring. She brought her mom and friend with her and we all got to explore the gardens together. Despite the heat and the pain of high heels everything went great! This also gave Abbey a chance before the wedding to try out how her hair style and how she wanted her make up. Next we get to share her big day with everyone!

Bunny Mini-Session

Proof Photography had it’s first Easter Mini-Session! We mostly do not do mini-session, but we used this has a chance to raise some money for a good cause we help out. Half of the proceeds of this shoot went to WildRescue inc- A great local rabbit recuse organization. Feel free to learn more about them at http://www.wildrescuetexas.org/.

The mini-session include pictures with an adoptable bunny, and each session lasted 15 minutes. It was an outdoor shoot, and I unfortunately our warm weather seemed to come to a stop right as the weekend approached so it was a little cooler than I liked. But, most of the kids still had a fun and were tougher than me. Coordinating the bunnies, wind, kids, and background were tricking and fun at the same time, there was not a dull moment. Some of the kids LOVED the bunnies, others wanted to keep a safe distance ; ) The shoot took place outside the Frisco Heritage Center. We got the majority of our background décor from Michaels, and we got the custom banner from someone local who does a great job! All in all I felt like it was a success and look forward to doing it again next year!
