Cassie & Anthony were a blast to work with! We dodged some bad weather and had the chance to have a brisk morning shoot in Downtown McKinney. The picked the Downtown McKinney area since they could get a good variety of pictures that included the country/urban style photos. Their goal was to grab some of the typical engagement pictures poses as well as shared with us their Pinterest board for more unique ones. They had some great shots they wanted with their four-legged best friend. Having pets on engagement shoots always makes it more fun! We wrapped up the shoot with them in their college gear and called it a day. Thanks so much to this great couple for letting us help tell your story, and hope you have a perfect wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic later this month!
We had the chance to shoot Dana and Taylor’s Engagement shoot before the wedding, which we always love because it gives us more time to get to know the bride and groom. Dana went with Dallas Arboretum, West End, and Trinity Groves for the locations of the shoot. We started out at Trinity Groves, it was a little rainy but it ended up working out great. We took advantage of the restaurants and the bridge being empty early in the morning. Next we moved on to the West End where we focused many of the shots in front of the shops, around the fountains, and in front of the Old Red Museum. Our final stop was at the Dallas Arboretum where you can never go wrong. We can’t wait to share their wedding pictures with you in the near future!
We can not thank Brittany and Rory enough for being such great sports during this engagement shoot! We shot at Arbor Hill Nature Preserve in Plano and it was HOT of course being June in Texas. Then being the awesome navigator I am I was able to get all four of a us little lost trying to find a bridge and went on a nice hike through the trails. We had such a good time with them from start to finish though, not letting the temperature or elements get in the way. We have said it before, but we truly have amazing clients that we can not wait for the next shoot. Their wedding will be coming up this fall at a ranch outside of Dallas.
We got to do this shoot a couple of weeks ago in Downtown McKinney and we could not have asked for better weather. Also, we were lucky enough for it not to be busy that evening in the square so it was very calm making it where we did not feel rushed. The couple was amazing and we had a blast the whole shoot. I loved how they included her son in their shoot. He was such an awesome helper and loved learning about the cameras, we could definitely see how he could be a future photographer. This awesome couple will be saying “I do” this June and we will make sure to share the pictures!
I can not tell you how happy I was to hear the news that this amazing woman got engaged. I had the opportunity to shoot her Senior photos years ago when she was in high school, so I could not be happier to get to shoot her awesome love story. Abbey found a perfect match in Timothy, and they leave no doubt in your mind the amazing things they will accomplish together. To start telling their story we decided to do their engagement shoot at the Dallas Arboretum. We shot it early on Valentines day so we could beat the crowd, and it turned out to be great. It started a little cool with Abbey stealing Timothy’s jacket between shots, but quickly warmed up. The entire shoot was a blast, from the squirrels leaping through the shots to Timothy always keeping Abbey on her toes. We can not wait to continue to share their story.
We have completed stage one of the two engagement shoots we are doing for this awesome couple, Ginger & Jimmy. Before it got too cold we went out to the Fort Worth Water Gardens and took some pictures around the fountains. The entire shoot was fun. It was a little nerve racking going down 38 feet into the main fountain with all the equipment and people running around, but well worth it. My favorite area was the quiet, blue meditation pool that is surrounded by gorgeous cypress trees. While we were shooting we even got to see another couple get engagement. We are looking forward to our shoot in the spring that will includes the pups, and even more excited for the wedding in the summer in Mexico.
We had such a great time with this engagement shoot for Meghan & Billy’s Engagement Shoot in historic Downtown McKinney. This one was for even more meaningful since we had know this couple for years. We waited weeks to have the rain go away, but finally got a day with perfect weather. They were such a fun couple to work with. We can not wait for their fall wedding to be here.
